e-Design Client Reveal!

Hi Friends! Its been a minute since I’ve updated the blog and I’ve been meaning to share new client reveals for sometime now. Today I’m sharing a Formal Living room e-design client reveal for a busy professional couple. After receiving their online questionnaire form describing their budget and design style, I was able to start creating the design concepts, floorplan layout and purchase list. Once the design was completed, the client was able to easily order all the new items based off of the concepts then implemented their new design beautifully into the space!

Colorful Interiors

The September issue of House Beautiful features a 1930″s Long Island home with colorful interiors and dashes of Hollywood Regency and the Far East. The home owner really pushed for these interiors and I have say I love them all.

I’m loving the acid green walls in this living room designed by interior designer Catherine Brown Paterson

The home office is cheery with bright orange walls with upholstery in Trina Turk and Lilly Pulitzer fabrics for a vibrant vibe.

The dining room is striking with fuchsia chairs and draperies and the Clarence House Flower Quince wallpaper is to die for, love it!

The kitchen is bright with yellow touches as the kitchen cabinets offer a color break to ease the eye. Loving the bamboo ceiling light above the dining table and the bar-stools.

The powder room has a citrus-yellow wallpaper in a bamboo print. So pretty and fresh against the dark counter top.

The master bedroom is in a favorite color “aqua” I just can’t seem to tire of it and it makes me happy. I love the darker aqua colors within the room and the window treatment fabric.

E-Decorating Services

Today I’m revealing a clients nook and family room online e-design. This Hampton/Coastal Style home has soft gray walls with white moldings and trims. She wanted a neutral palette and loves grays and blues. You’ll notice I designed two color options for the family room on the sectional, side chair and accent pillows. The space has a comfortable and chic coastal vibe that includes performance fabrics which are great for stains and spills.

THE NOOK & FAMILY ROOM

My client already owned the Crate and Barrel dining chairs so I worked around those to complete her nook area which is in between the kitchen and family room. This version shows the light gray sectional and ivory side chair option.

THE FAMILY ROOM

This version has the ivory sectional and light gray side chair as the other option. The window shades and area rug as well as the ottomans give texture to this space.

E-Design Interior Design

Congratulations to the winner! Today I’m revealing my E-Design giveaway inspiration boards that I just finished for a young professional who just moved into a new home. She had a rather large living room with an entryway and a fireplace wall.

THE LIVING ROOM

The look of this living room has an “Eclectic Glam” feel with girly touches and gold metal accents.

THE ENTRYWAY

This soft and elegant entryway has bench seating with storage and a place to lay your keys with a mirror.

FIREPLACE WALL

The fireplace wall has an accent paint color in a darker gray to create a focal as well as shelving and hidden storage cabinets.

Introducing a new furniture line by Mary McDonald for Chaddock, the 53 piece collection is a carefully curated mix of influences from the neo-classic, French and Hollywood glamour periods. We all loved Mary from the popular show Million Dollar Decorators and is when I really noticed her amazing style. I had the pleasure of meeting this lovely women and can’t wait for her new collections in 2015 to surface.
