Introducing New Fabrics for the Home by Robert Allen

As an interior designer I’m always on the hunt for new fabrics and love pulling together fabric stories for clients.  When mixing your fabrics think of scale and contrast.  I like to include a large  print and a small scale print with of course a few solids.  Here are a few examples of fabric schemes I’ve put together.

FLOR Carpet Tiles

FLOR Carpet Tiles are genius if I may say so myself.  Their carpet tiles are suitable for residential and commercial spaces.  You can assemble them to create area rugs, runners and wall to wall carpet designs in any shape or size.  They are easily connected with the FLORdot adhesives that keep each square together.  Removing a single square is a cinch in case of spills, pets or kids damaging one.  FLOR has now introduced “Ready Rugs” which is clever collections of pre-designed rugs that includes the squares, dots and FLORplan that shows you how to put it all together.  For more information on my interior design services or online e-design please visit my website.
