Legendary fashion designer Oscar de la Renta has passed at 82.  He was best known for dressing some of the worlds most famous women including Jacqueline Kennedy, Laura Bush, Oprah Winfrey and recently designed Amal Alamuddin wedding dress.   Before I was in the interior design industry I was working in the fashion industry for many years.  I had the honor of meeting this lovely man years ago in Dallas when I worked for the company, he was such a gentleman and so kind to me.  It seems like yesterday I was attending one of his fashion shows and merchandising from store to store.   It saddens me but we all know that his legacy will live on and continue to shine.  One my favorite quotes from him was, “The qualities I most admire in women are confidence and kindness.”   Oscar had recently launched and added a home collection which includes table settings, entertaining essentials, gifts and rugs.  Here is a look at some of his amazing fashion designs.
