Color of the Year 2014

It was officially announced that Pantone’s Color of the Year 2014 is “Radiant Orchid”. What a gorgeous color! It has undertones of pink and fuchsia which makes for a striking accent for an interior whether it be a wall or a throw pillow. Color Trends FALL 2013

Here is the Color Trend Forecast for Fall/Winter 2013. I like to research both the Pantone Fashion color report and the Design Options Lifestyle Home color trend report every season to compare them. It’s no surprise that fashion continues to influence the home design industry. This season has beautiful deep blues, purples, teal, emerald, burnt orange, wine, gray, beige and more. I had put together a few inspiration boards that I thought I would share with you all below, combining the fashion and home color stories with the illustrations by Pantone from some of today’s top fashion designer collections.
