Happy Friday! I absolutely adore Bungalow 5, they have so many unique home furnishings and accessories. Today’s finds are for a pretty entryway with a Chinoiserie theme. It’s one of my favorite requests and love it when a client gets just as excited as me about home design.
Decorating with Dark Wall Colors
Decorating with dark wall colors can seem risky but surprisingly if done right it can be rather beautiful. Darker walls can bring warmth, texture and dimension to a room. If you like the look and feel of sophistication, glamour and drama then you may want to give it a try. My tip is to add pieces that will contrast against the dark color and create balance within the space. A gorgeous mirror or piece of colorful art will really standout and make quite a statement. Remember to keep the space open with good flow so it won’t feel crowded or cluttered.
