It’s officially spring everyone! I have been wanting to do a feature on the idea of painting your window frames a color other than white. Painted window frames have instant impact plus it’s easy and affordable. Have you thought about doing this in your own home? Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
I’m getting into the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day with a few interiors that feature the gorgeous hue green. Even though it was last years color of the year it will always be a favorite of mine. This regal color is a forever classic in my book.
You can incorporate a strong color like the green above into a space without it over powering a room. The statement chairs give personality to this dining room while the other items remain quiet.

New Client Project: Today I’m sharing a retail boutique design project for a local spa I recently completed with after photos. My client has a small space and needed to maximize it to it’s fullest potential. The space needed to include a retail section for skincare, jewelry, a sitting area, spa treatment room with ample storage and a office area.
For the retail area we added Anthropologie Moresque chairs in the green mixed with blue accent pillows against the warm gray walls. The retail counter is in an antique white finish and the round Doily rug is in a soft gray.
My client loves an eclectic and antique look so we used alot of brass accents within the retail area for her jewelry, teas and decorative pendant lights.
This adorable antique brass and mirrored bar cart is used for displaying teas, cups and treats.
Retail shelving display units are in a warm gray finish with accent wallpaper.
The color palette in the spa treatment room are in warm grays with soft blues and yellows mixed with whites. The window bench seat is custom in a textured warm gray fabric with a mix of accent pillows, jute roman shades and white drapery panels.
