Lenny Kravitz Interior Design

Rock star Lenny Kravitz turned interior designer is on the move with his residential and commercial design firm. He just completed designing the set for the Queen Latifah Show. I’m obsessed with the door design and the staircases back drop with the multiple gold Q’s . The overall design is chic and sophisticated with warm colors and textures. Kravitz not only designs interiors but also designs lighting for Swarovski, a chair line with Kartell, tiles for Le Ceramiche and a wallpaper line called Flavor paper.

Girasol Restaurant Studio City

Girasol is a new restaurant in Studio City, CA by Orange County-born C.J. Jacobson. His craft is best described as “rustic refined” very much like the interior of the restaurant. The interior design is chic and filled with subtle natural elements like the gray stone walls and white washed oak flooring. The main star of the show is the metal sunflower (girasol means “sunflower” in Spanish) that lines the ceiling and drops onto the side of the wall creating quite a focal point.
